I oktober 2015 släpptes Halo 5: Guardians men något Halo 6-avslöjande under E3 2017 bidde det inte. När 343i:s Jeff Easterling postade en nyårsuppdatering om nya Halo-äventyr under 2018 kände han sig manad att tillägga: "Nej, inte de äventyren".
2018 has arrived and with it, the promise of new fun times to be had and adventures to be embarked upon. No, not those adventures, but plenty of exciting ones, some which might surprise you more than others.
Det återstår att se vad för Halo-äventyr 343i kokar ihop som av allt att döma inte har någon sexa i titeln. Mellan fjärde och femte Halo dröjde det tre år men den här gången verkar vi få hålla på oss minst fyra år. Ett Halo-äventyr som är på gång är Steven Spielberg-serien. It is absolutely still in development, still moving forward and I’m encouraged by what we’ve seen so far. It’s still live action, and it will definitely satisfy the fans of Halo and I think also satisfy the drama audiences of Showtime.
