Efter att Bungie och Activision gått skilda vägar tidigt i år var det tänkt att 17 september skulle markera en slags nystart för Destiny 2; spelet blir free-to-play (New Light), får expansionen Shadowkeep och flyttar från Battle.net till Steam. Nu säger Bungie att de behöver mer tid.
De behöver lyckligtvis inte oceaner av ytterligare tid utan 17 september blir 1 oktober.
This Fall is the first step on a journey for what our team wants Destiny 2 to become – a place for you and your friends to play anytime, anywhere; owning the action MMO and RPG elements that we love about the game; and crushing barriers to entry for friends. We just need a bit of extra time to take the first step.
Bungie är medvetna om att många är ivriga och har därför gjort några justeringar då vi hux flux tvingas vänta två veckor ytterligare. Moments of Triumph förlängs till 17 september och ytterligare ett Iron Banner-event hålls just det datumet också. Annars är det tålamod som gäller.
