Vi har sagt det förut och säger det igen: för många levde #No Man's Sky inte upp till förväntningarna. Vilket lett till arga konsumenter som i vissa fall riktar mängder av hat mot både #Hello Games och alla som faktiskt uppskattar spelet.
Detta tröttnade en av moderatorerna för spelets subreddit på, och raderade hela forumet. R0ugew0lf, som användaren kallar sig, motiverade sig i ett inlägg:
"So I purged the subreddit. It's become a hate filled wastehole of no actual discussion. It's not what we intended it to be and I don't like providing a platform for hate. I'm sorry to everyone who used the subreddit as intended but you are now in the majority. I'm sure you can find a different place to discuss this game. It's not hard.
This was my decision and mine alone. The other moderators tried to sway my opinion but cynicism got the best of me as usual."
I korhet är det allt påstått hat som motiverade nedsläckningen. Det skulle dock inte dröja särskilt länge innan en community manager för Reddit öppnade upp subredditen igen. Nya ansvariga utses inom en snar framtid. Mer information finns i ännu ett inlägg.
